Selections from First Blood

This is a selection from music I wrote for a trio of two tenors and drumset.  I used material from Jerry Goldsmith's score to the film First Blood to create an improvisational suite.

Literary Improvisation #1 (Kerouac)

In this improvisation I use a selection from Kerouac's On The Road as the basis for an improvisation.  I tried to imagine Kerouac's syllabic delivery and mix it with melodic shapes inspired by the content of the text.
